NAME HERE INFO
Wait, what’s going on?

Greeks is a game set in an alternate reality, where the only gods to ever be worshiped are the Greeks. There are no others. Sorry.

What does this mean for the world as we know it?

The world is basically the same. Technology, science, the arts, entertainment, etc, are mostly unchanged. In the past, there were still wars fought over religion or in the honor of deities. The biggest difference, is that in this reality, the gods and the immortals choose to make themselves known to humanity. Most of them mingle freely with mankind, as they see fit. Depending on the immortal, this could be seen as either a very good thing, or a very bad thing. Some deities might offer protection, while others might demand sacrifice and bloodshed.

So, who exactly can I play?

Any Greek deity. Reincarnated mortals. Nymphs, satyrs, monsters…

Setting

Currently, most of the gods reside in Los Angeles, California. Within the city, you will find a multitude of temples dedicated to an array of deities. There are cults here, some of them more sinister than others, and priests and priestesses who have dedicated themselves to particular deities. Otherworldly realms, such as the Underworld or Mount Olympus, are accessible through portals located throughout the city. Only those with divine blood have access to these portals, unless accompanied by someone with divine blood.

RULES

You must be 18 years or older to join this game because there will be adult situations involved.

We have a character limit of ten characters per player. This may change in the future but at the moment the mods believe that this is a fair limit to adhere to.

Communication with your fellow players is key. We're a community and therefore it's important we communicate with each other.

No godmodding! Do not assume you know what another player's character is going to do in a scene.

Activity will be held on the first of each month. In order to pass, you will need one of the following for each of your characters:

  • A narrative
  • A scene
  • A network post with comments replied to or a comment exchange of some sort
